ABOUT THE ARTIST

I’m a freelance illustrator based in Toronto, Canada, and a former Graphics Director for the National Post and infographics artist for the Globe and Mail. In addition to these two national dailies, I’ve worked at several other newspapers, including the Montreal Gazette, the Vancouver Province and the London Free Press. My illustrations have also appeared in the Ottawa Citizen, the Winnipeg Free Press, the Winnipeg Sun, Marketing Magazine, Canadian Running, London Magazine, Owl Magazine for Kids, Where Magazine, the Medical Post and on my mother’s fridge door.

My interests constantly creep into my illustrations – history, travel, music, mythology, running, and the extraordinary world of our four-legged, furry, fuzzy, fanged, winged, webbed, waddling, paddling, slithering, scaly and invertebrate friends (I’m not talking about former bosses here.)
